Since 2013, Safe Space Overnight Winter Shelter has provided immediate, accessible shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness, particularly during the extreme winter months.

Working with our local religious organizations we are able to use their facilities in a bi-weekly rotation for 2-3 months (December- March ) out of the year for our shelter operations.

Our Winter Shelter is managed by our Shelter Operations Managers (ShOp), Staff and volunteers. They ensure that guests' belongings are securely stored and ready for transportation to the shelter location each night.

During their stay, our guests are treated to a warm dinner, the opportunity to dry off, and a restful night's sleep.

WINTER SHELTER
